Unofficial Tex Murphy

I've tried to install Pandora on my computer (XP). I followed the XP guides with the patches (download Nilo's page).... when a try start the game i got a message that said to insert the CD.But Pandora cd is already in CD-ROM...... Thanks

Perhaps your CD drive letter is not mapped in the config file of the Pandora directory. Go to C:\Pandora\config and open it. Scroll down to the CD_MAP section (See below) and replace whatever drive is listed with your CD drive letter. For example, if your CD drive letter is D then you would replace the F with D. And if you have more than one CD drive then you would change them in the same way. Once you have the game running you can make these changes from the Auxiliary Panel by clicking on Config then CD-ROM.

I just got back involved with Tex {sigh, how we've been apart too long}, anyway... I was having this same problem...

When I opened the config file, it had all but Disc 1 Mapped to E:, Disc 1 was Mapped to D:... You believe that... I'm flipping out trying to figure out why this thing keeps telling me my disc isn't there...
So I figured, since I followed everything to the T, that someone had to have had this problem, so here I find the answer from 2 freakin' years ago... lmao

You people are great, I wish I hadn't put Tex aside so long ago, but hey, I had to do the Family thing... But I'm still a Tex Fan no matter what...

Thank You All... Especially Nilo who has been ever so calm with all my emails for help... lol

Now, I'm going to go and try this again, hopefully all is well...
