Overseer revisited, problems in alcatraz

Cheers, Tex fan crowd!

Just registered, and need some help. I'm replaying overseer on windows xp, and it ran fine up until I was about to enter bosworth clarks lab. Read on this forum a tip that said to mute the midi sound, which helped me get all the way to alcatraz with nothing but illegal ops at random times, which I could get by.

Now, though, I'm in alcatraz, and I've escaped my cell. I'm on the floor of cell block A, when go towards the end of the row of cells (out the cell and left) I get some probs. The game crashes to desktop as I round the corner at the end of the row of cells. This happens every time, no matter what I do.

All tips are welcome!

The name's Tex Murphy, that's T - E - X...
I think others had this problem and the only way forward was to load a save game from AFTER this problem - ie get a save game from someone else that had it on a different platform (like Win 98 or ME).
Welcome to the board! Wish I could help but I can't so I won't. :(

Alright Jim, spill it. Who is that precious little baby you've got on your avatar? :D

Isn't she a doll? My wife has babysat for her older sister for about 5 years running, so we were very pleased to see a new member of their family. Her name is Jasmine, 6 pounds 14 ounces, 21 inches long and she and mom and doing quite well. Her older sister is Diamond, a fiesty 8 year old who is very dear to our hearts. Hmmm......maybe the next girl will be Ruby?
