However, teleporters... I'd LOVE those!redcat72 wrote:An interesting list, however I will have to disagree with #4/#5 as having a limited life span is what makes your lifetime precious. If you were able to live 10,000 years it'd be like having too long of a Kickstarter campaign. You'd probably get bored.

I want a bowel disruptor gun. With several settings. Nothing says "F*** YOU!" like making you S#!t your pants. Or, y'know, orchestrating a voluntary prolapse.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Oh I wouldn't get bored. I have too many unfulfilled interests and bizarre ideas(including many personal quirks that current human civilization doesn't allow me to express openly.) Plus. the longer I go on, the longer the world continues to show me new things. I can go from exploring the world to exploring the solar system to exploring the galaxy to exploring the universe to exploring the multiverse and discovering every mundane and spiritual experience of a trillion worlds. As long as you're willing to go outside your comfort zone and expand your horizons, there is no boredom. The various *ahem* "adult activities" our current world has to offer could keep a person busy for a few hundred years all by themselves (Thanks, Internet!). And all this is just the tip of the iceberg. Reading books, learning languages, remedial learning, higher learning, having different jobs, self-sufficiency, producing your thoughts in a material form(music, writing, art, invention, architecture, new religions, etc). There is no end, no end to inspiration! Knowledge and experience and the willingness to bring a new brightness into the world is what makes Life precious, I say. Also being limited effects people differently. Where some people are more motivated by their limitations others are not; for myself, having less time makes me less motivated, not more. Boy, this is a long paragraph. End!redcat72 wrote:You'd probably get bored.

This isn't Immortality... From the sound of it, it sounds like a procedure you have to endure in order to become young again...Trilaan wrote:4: Rejuvenation Technology allowing extended lifespans of up to 10,000 years or more. - "He's had more rejuves than anyone in history."
If you get "Bored" with your life you can always opt to not have the procedure, thus ending your life... No reason to ruin it for those who would like to live on by denying it altogether...
And this is just offers the ability to not get sick... I mean I don't know about anyone else, but I'd hate to experience cancer and have to do the radiation and other painful procedures... Anyone that has had to go through surgery for any reason should appreciate something such as this... A Pill or a Shot that you get that makes you immune... Even if the technology to live 10,000 years or whatever doesn't exist, it would be nice to spend our {on average} 75 years sick free... I mean without the Rejuvenation process from above, body parts {such as the heart} will eventually wear out with sickness or not... So death would still be avoidable, but I'd still like to do it without having to have a painful and suffering exit...Trilaan wrote:5: Medical Wonder Drugs to cure almost any illness - "Miracle Pills"
But if you'd rather experience sickness and whatnot, then just don't go to the doctor for your shot when the time comes, but again, don't ruin it for everyone else by denying it altogether... lol
Pretty good solid list I would say... I'd swap out # 10 for the Eco-Skeleton Technology from Metal Gear Solid... This could be applied to Dental issues as well as aid those who are Handicap or experience a bad accident or born with deformity or whatever other reason...

Hey Trilaan,
I think the same way you do about being able to endlessly experience new things, but this will only work if you have an endless supply of money.....
I think, living forever in my current life of having to go to work to earn money in a job I hate would be the worst torture ever.....
Family is great and I would love to be around them.... but I would never want to live for so long without having an endless supply of money, so I could enjoy life...
Either that or live in a world without money.
