Question to Metallica Fans

Is it just me or does the bridge to the song Just a Bullet Away off the Beyond Magnetic EP sound like something you would hear in a Final Fantasy Game or just any RPG for that matter?

Like in an enchanted forest or ancient ruins dungeon or something....

Anybody also think so?

I actually don't have the Beyond Magnetic EP yet, though I might pick it up for Christmas. I liked Death Magnetic but at the same time it felt a little forced in the way they spent a bit too much time throughout the album trying to reclaim a younger rendition of themselves that they clearly no longer are so it didn't really feel fresh or new, more like a tribute to the band they once were. There are some good tracks on there, but like St Anger, it would have made a much stronger album at three-quarters of the length.
I actually really enjoyed it, but know what you mean.

It felt nice to hear them going back to their roots though.

Check out the song on youtube and tell me what you think.

It is at about 4 mins or so.

I'll have to check it out. I haven't picked up Beyond Magnetic. I'm debating whether I'll get it, but I probably will.

I see where you're coming from. It's definitely a change of pace from the rest of the song.
