Tex Murphy and Entertainment Tonight
I have a distinct memory of Entertainment Tonight doing a relatively lengthy segment on Under a Killing Moon when it came out in 1994.
If I remember correctly, they sent a "reporter" to some kind of launch party for it.
At this party were several celebrities, including the cast of UAKM. And for some bizarre reason Gary Coleman (Different Strokes) was at the party and interviewed as a cast member.
I remember him saying that now that we had full motion video in games, he would probably never leave the house.
Oddly, they didn't show Chris Jones at all.
I am 100% it was entirely about UAKM. They also mentioned that BlockBuster Video would be renting the Game for PC users. How weird.
Does anyone else remember this? I know I didn't hallucinate it.
