NEW MEGADETH ALBUM!!!!

I'm a fan of their old (80s) albums. Some of their newer stuff has been pretty good (e.g., The System has Failed). I didn't really get into United Abomniations that much and really wasn't a fan of Endgame. So, I didn't check out 13 at all. Maybe I'll have to give this one a look, but for me most of their albums are either hit or miss.

I loved the System Has failed.
That was a great album all around.

I wasn't a fan of Endgame either.

United Abominations grew on me.
I wasn't a huge fan at first.

I loved some of the songs on 13.
Especially Neverdead and Public Enemy Number One.
The song 13 was really good too.


Their old 80s stuff was great.
The remaster of Killing is My Business was amazing, but I can't say much for the original recording. Not sure what they did with the remaster of Peace Sells, but I didn't like it. Original was better. Remaster of So Far So Good So What was great too.

Although favorite album by them of all time has to be Rust in Peace.

K, so I just heard the new single, Super Collider.....

I hate it.....

I really hope the whole album isn't like this.
I know they just parted with Road Runner, and I see why they might want to after this song...

It is extremely slow, and sounds ridiculously commercial.... like Risk....
Its a song that sounds like I could play it in my sleep.

That is the one thing I like about Megadeth.... the challenging guitar work.
Megadeth songs are usually take months to be able to play....

anyway, I really hope the rest of the album is better than this.....

Any one else hear it?
Any opinions?

I'll listen to this soon, love Megadeth. I have enjoyed their latest few albums, Black Swan is an especially catchy track love that riff.

Speaking of 80s thrash bands still doing it, Overkill is so damn good still. Also a new Children of Bodom hits soon too.
