I idolized superman as a child, so this really hits home for me.

First time I am genuinely excited for a Superman live action adaptation.

Yea, Superman Returns was pretty bad.

They tried to capture the heart of the old ones, but it didn't quite work.....

And only the first two superman films of the original series, were the only ones that were at all decent.

They seemed more directed at kids where this one seems more directed at the original audiences that actually fell in love with the Donner flicks.
Thing is, that audience is now all grown up, so it is nice that they are making a grown up movie to appeal to them.

I think kids, now a days, need a superhero that represents hope, rather than a goofy guy in a cape.

I am looking forward to this new Man of Steel film. I hope this one will be better then Superman Returns.
