That was certainly everything I had hoped for.

They should probably mention somewhere that this is a game, though. I'm pretty sure if I shared this on Facebook, 100 out of 100 people would think it was a movie unless they knew the Tex Murphy brand already.

No harm in making them look twice! It's awesome. Great work by James on the site, and I can see the hallmarks of a few friends on this board in that trailer too.

Lots of activity on FB regarding the trailer, but did not want to ignore good old UTM! Needless to say it looks fantastic. Great job done by everyone involved!!

I agree. That was a great trailer. Now it's going to be a really agonizing wait until the release of the game.

There will be other trailers, I'm sure. Should at least have two more, one proper full-length trailer, and at least one more closer to release. Hopefully including some gameplay.

Loved it. I'm glad it looked like a movie because that's exactly what players will be seeing. Real people and not rendered characters. Too bad video games can't win Oscars.

Well I also meant on the website. They should have put some gameplay screens up if they're not going to put it in the trailer. And maybe a press release that talks about it as a game, too.

On the horns of a dilemma. Have been hanging around here since the last millennia (1992).

Absolutely want this project to succeed. Looking forward to Tex Murphy taking off and becoming a super game success with all its rewards. Go Tex!

But at the same time, when Tex Murphy becomes the winner, we lose. We can expect this charming website to lose the cool family-cult like inclusiveness that has been the hallmark of this small group of sycophantical associates.

To borrow a line from another cult classic, Highlander, “It is better to flame out than to fade away.”

(When all the fanfare fades away over the next century, I'll still be here, cheering for Tex.)
