Who are you, Tex? (Spoiler: ALL games)

UOTM has been picking at every detail of Tex since forever. So with Tesla Effect, Aaron's made a bigger puzzle than even Chris did! Let's try to figure this out...
Tex Really was Donnelly in a past life?
Unless I got it wrong, the situation is this: Tex was Donnelly, Tesla's bodyguard, in a past life. Donnelly hid the Tesla egg in the walls of his apartment many years ago. So Tex, in his life, was "drawn to" Chandler Ave., and move back into that apt. The Tesla egg's presence intensified his "memories" of Donnelly, and thus he became more like the anachronistic PI we know and love. (compare to Overseer Tex). I do not think Tex literally was Donnelly awoken from cyro-sleep though. It wouldn't explain his family memories. Also, that would be a ripoff of another well-known Blade Runner-inspired adventure game from the 90s (for spoilers, I won't mention it, but maybe you know
).
This way, we can also say that Tex is not 100% responsible for the person he was during the lost 7 years. He was not that kind of person and did not even have the potential to do the things he did during that period. Not guilty. With the Tesla egg gone, he's free to become who he really thinks he is.
Donnelly's influence in Pandora?
I suppose this also means that the branching story in Pandora was really the player choosing between the influence of Donnelly's spirit (the cynical jerkhole) and Tex's will to remain true to his own principles. At the end of Pandora, Fitz asks, "Who are you, Tex?" http://youtu.be/Hr-dbqVfWkw After all this time, we now know what that meant!
But the influence of Margaret, Chelsee's birth mother, made things worser for Tex. I'm not 100% sure what it was that she did to him, but it changed him. It made his Donnelly spirit stronger. Either that, or it was just Chelsee's disappearance that hurt him, and that happened because of Margaret by-proxy since The Interpreter and his goons were after her. (Um, right?) That's why Margaret erased Tex's memory, as her way of trying to make up for the damage to Tex's selfhood and her daughter's happiness.
"Fridge Horror"
I know this story isn't meant to be horror, but what happened to Tex... is pretty awful if you think about it. If the Tesla egg and Donnelly's influence upon him made his self, then who is he? Imagine losing your personality to some spirit force without even knowing it. Holy crap!
As players, we never see than conflict play out; it would be shockingly painful. So I guess that justifies Margaret in giving him the shot.
Hail Chelsee, Full of Grace
I speculate that Tex made his bizarre Chelsee shrine not only because of his love for her, but because she was a strong connection to his ideal self, the person he wanted to be. His feelings for her was the only thing keeping his connection to his former self, and the light and positivity associated with it. Chelsee and Tex end the Overseer story during dinner, with an affirmation of idealism and an un-cynical universe as Chelsee insists that his actions and ideal beliefs during the case were right and good. She became more than a woman, and he worshiped her like The Virgin Mary (candles, relics, icons!). She represents hope and salvation itself. Even we the players cannot see her at all unless we stay true to her, like she's some kind of distant goddess and not a person. And only through faith do you get her as your reward.
And also...
We still don't know his name. And he turned from brunette to blond over the years. No one finds this strange.
Well, I hope Aaron Conners' upcoming novel clears things up! Looking forward to reading it!
