Unofficial Tex Murphy

Just got to Sensen, tripped the alarm, got sent back to Tex's office, got the FAX and am at Coit Tower. Due to some lag, I didn't read the FAX in the office ("look" icon wouldn't come up), so I'm wondering if I killed something. I'm at Coit tower and the elevator is not there. I had gone up the elevator earlier in the game and teleported out. Have I created a game-breaking situation? (I would have expected the elevator to re-set).

Thx. Normally not this much of a crybaby, but getting the lag, getting it fixed, then getting it again is making it very hard to figure out what's lag, what's impatience or misinterpretation, and what may be a game-breaking bug. I'm a veteran of the other 3 games and was really looking forward to this!

Pull the lever / push the button to call the elevator back down.
