Unofficial Tex Murphy

I've played UAKM and Pandora, and I've certainly seen the Overseer cliff-hanger ending, though I've never played the game. Will I enrich my Tesla experience if I play Overseer first, or is Overseer irrelevant to to Tesla other than the cliff-hanger ending? Also, should I listen to Radio Theater before playing Tesla?

Overseer is about Tex Murphy's past, so it is not necessary to play it (though it's a fantastic game). The Radio Theater tells the events that led to Tesla Effect, so it adds some details to it, even if it leaves us with another cliffhanger.

I would play Overseer and listen to Radio Theater just to follow the order in which they came.
