Okay folks, this is it!

Sorry for the long delay but we have just been given the green light to announce the winners of the Tex Murphy 1st Birthday competition!

Firstly, here is the list of prizes our winners will get to choose from:

- 1 of 3 Pandora Directive novels signed by Aaron Conners, Chris Jones and Doug Vandegrift
- Barry Corbin poster signed by Barry himself to the Access boys
- An original copy of Mean Streets for the Commodore 64/128 (a definite collector’s item!)
- 1 of many Pandora Directive audio books narrated by our very own Demonlawyer
- 1 of many Under a Killing Moon and Pandora Directive official unofficial soundtracks

Now, without further delay, the winners:

Firstly the winner of the Short Story Competition is Nick Vracar for his 'The Big Stink', as judged by Aaron Conners. Well done! Do we see a new Tex Murphy fan story in the making?

The winner of the Creative Works Competition is Valynis for his wonderful song 'Search Me'.... written and performed by the man himself! ...did I mention it was personally instrumented?

The winner of the Trivia Competition is JimTOG, with an amazing 250/300 points! However, his body must be cleared first of all performance enhancing Geritol.

So, in terms of prize preference, as listed above, Vracar gets to pick first, followed by Val, and then JimTOG.

Once those prizes have been picked, I will announce the runners up and they will get a hand in the prizes.

Once again, thanks to all our contributors (you know who you are!), and thanks to the participants, and keep watching this space!

P.S. Aaron was kind enough to supply comprehensive feedback on everyone's short story submission, so if you would like to read your response from AC, swing us an email: cubase1 [at] optusnet.com.au

Hey!

Probably not only I would like to see all the Creative Works and Short Stories :) Maybe if the authors agree, we can put them together on a web page ??

1. I'll take one of the signed copies of "The Pandora Directive", the game that got me into Tex Murphy in the first place.

2. Sure, I'd gladly put the story up on the web.

I would love to read the short story by Vracar and see and hear Val's entry.

BTW, the signed items are books, not the game, just in case there was any confusion.

Geritol enhancing test passed in flying colors. However, the US Senate is going to launch their own investigation. Refresh my memory - do I plead the fifth or drink the fifth?

No confusion here, Jim.

By the way, should I post the story on the board, or wait for the web site to go up?

Here's my creative works entry for anyone who's interested. Can't compete with an original song I am sure, but I thought it would be cool to do. It's an audio trailer for Radio Theatre.

Thanks for the heads-up, Jen. I really apreciate it.

ahem....

WOOHOOO!!!!

Now, what do I choose? I want one of each, please! No, really! No? Well, I guess I'll go with the signed novel. That poster looks sweet, though... (after all, I believe it might be possible to get a hold of the soundtracks and the audio book by other means, right?)

If you guys want to hear the song, you'll have to appeal to Cubase because I have no means to put it online myself. Sorry.

I really don't want to cause people to hate me over this, but Earl your story was pretty good...except for the fact that the tense kept switching (from IS to WAS to IS again). For me, it makes it hard for me to follow a story. But even through that, it was still very good, and I commend you on it. :)

Sorry if I was nitpicking, just pointing it out. :)
