Some sad news...

Goodbye Ms. Delores Lightbody.
You are and will always be missed.

Way too many members of the Tex family have passed on.
For everyone that has...and I can't mention them all because it's going to make me break down here, I wish you and your loved ones peace.

Love to you all.
Jen
Sad news, indeed. :( Micaela's performance in Overseer never fails to make me laugh. She was truly one of the highlights of the game. My thoughts go out to her family and friends.

Gonna have to fire up Overseer and watch her do her Delores Lightbody magic later...
She played her role as Delores Lightbody with exceptional finesse and expertise that rivaled other actors in the game. I always LOVED her part and felt she was a key player. Yes, I will miss her greatly.

You're right, Jen. Too many Tex actors and fans have left the earthly plane and I, for one, miss them more than words can say. Ripley is a good example of my feelings.

BTW, my wife suffers from fibromyalgia and it can have devastating affects on those who are unaware of its capability to destroy from within.

Sorry to hear this... I agree with everyones comments about her truly memorable performance. I wish her family well. :(

I remember playing Overseer. I remember the name of Dolores. I just ... can't seem to conjure up the conversations Tex had with her. I have a vauge recollection of her in an apartment, and a conversation with Tex. Wasn't she Carl's girlfriend, or something?

At any rate, it's always sad to see someone go, and I offer up my condolences, for what it's worth. It seems like so many people in my life are passing lately, and although I know it's the natural way of things, and noone lives forever, it just makes you remember your own mortality.

Jim - Man, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope that everything goes well. I have about two or three loved ones down with diseases right now myself, from severe diabetes, to alzhiemers. But nothing comes close to the heart, as your significant other.. I wish you both the best in the troubling times.
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
Very sad indeed. Her perofmance in Overseer was very entertaining and definitely one of the highlights of the game.

Reading that article it's good to see that she was an advocate of so many worthy causes. I am sure many will miss her, but I am glad to have been a witness to one of her contributions.

-Cub. =o)
sad indeed. She get very well in her performance in TM: Overseer. She was a very entertaining woman and definitely a great actress.
I always thought her performance as Miss Lightbody was *the* acting highlight of the game (with the possible exception of Sonny's death scene.)

For Mr. Malloy, who doesn't quite remember, her character was very Truman Capote-ish and included a lot of sexual inuendo.
That's too bad. I'm glad to see that she was quite successful both in her professional and her personal life.

Good catch, Vivus.

Man that's too bad. Does anyone know what caused it?
Sad news. :(
Truly yours,
