this may sound funny coming from my mouth but do you know where i could posiibly find on the internet the tex murphy movie "Plan Ten From Outer Space"?

Used to be on the Carp International Tex Murphy website... no longer there unfortunately, as with many old tex Murphy resources.

Actually, Sarah, I believe Trent Harris has an office near downtown SL. I can find out the exact address when I get back home. If I'm not mistaken, he still sells the movie on VHS. Not sure what his office hours are, but if you just want to see it, the main downtown library should still have the copy they bought last year (directly off him).

Happy hunting

Cheap, good, fast. Pick any two.

you see... this movie was never a video that you could by.
I'm Rook's Daughter
did anyone happen to download it.
I'm Rook's Daughter
I dug out my old computer and booted it up hoping to find a copy, cause I remember it a long time ago. My realplayer kept the info, it was 48:10 minutes long, etc, but I don't think I could download it, just played it from the site.

No luck here.
Funny, I could swear he made a video if it and sold it out of his office. If not, you could inquire at the Tower Theater if they still have their reel copy. They've been known to show it from time to time. Hmmm...might even be worth it to ask them for a screening, in case there's really going to be a Tex-Con in SLC next year: Watching the origins of Tex would be a rare treat for the fans. I do seem to recall that he was called 'Tex Mutant' in the film, but don't anybody quote me on that...

Here is Trent Harris' web site and add for Plan 10 for 25 bucks.

Not sure if this is the same film, because the pictures look different than I remember.

Call me ignorant, but I have no idea what you're talking about! Please fill me in on the significance of this film and its relationship to Tex Murphy.

Plan 10 from outer space was a spoof film (coming from Plan 9 form outer space) that the Tex Murphy gang made before they were doing the Tex games. A kind of sci-fi alien horror, deliberately corny, and starring our very own Chris Jones.

This was shortly after they did their 'Singing Detective' films. For which a video was also available.

And guess what... I HAVE ALL THESE VIDEOS! Will upload them shortly.
