Nothing will change in Iraq. Why? That country, like so many in the Middle East, is prone to political upheaval and religious intolerance. No connection I can think of. It was the first thing that came to mind to try and sway conversation away from getting heated over a clearly complicated issue. Maybe I should have let it be.
