Hmmm, interesting.
I was hoping for something involving vodka. Oh well...
My blog:

"Murders... Dozens of horrific murders. "

That advertising blurb, and the 12.99 price, make me squeamish indeed.

I think I won't take a chance.
Never too late for coffee, never too early for beer.
OOoooh, but what about this! It's only 9.75!

I have to admit I was expecting some kind of poorly made Russian rap video or roulette game when I saw the topic of this post...

You were wrong, Andy. I know many Russian games (Quest/Adventure genre), but I doubt that you speak Russian.

Your intuition is correct.
I played it once (Portuguese translation) and it is not a good adventure - in my opinion of course.
The beginning, where the main character wakes up in a hospital full of dead bodies, is OK, with a somewhat dark, but still interesting atmosphere. But later the game becomes a little bit weird and somewhere in the middle of the game the rest of the story gets lost.
I was once invited to play Roulette with a Russian friend of mine. Then next day I needed new underwear. So no more Russian games for me thank you.

-Cub. =o)

Did you win a game, Wintermute?

I did finish the game, if this is what you mean.

I bought it during my stay in Brazil. This must be one of the very few games which has been dubbed into Portuguese language.

Both Nibiru and Midnight Nowhere are ok adventure games in my opinion. Worth buying at budget price, if you have the time to play through them (not that it takes forever to do so, but the competition is pretty stiff when it comes to ok or better adventure games).
