I was a frequent visitor of the old board, but i never felt the compelling urge to give in and register and post....but on the new one i just couldn't help myself! I can't wait for the new site!

Think about this, a couple of years back Sierra started to hint that it was thinking of bringing back their Space Quest series. The 2 main SQ boards took off in posts and were hot as can be. Sierra even put up a web page on their site showing all of the old SQ games and placing a link to purchase them. (although it said not in stock) Obviously it made people think they were getting ready to support them again and even make another. Then sierra decided to go a different direction and droped the whole thing again. Today one of the boards is gone and the other has very few posts. That was only like 2 years ago, and in 24 months it killed one board and will probably kill the other. Tex hasnt made a game since 1998 and there are about a hundred of us chatting away about a game series that hasnt been made in almost a decade. So I hope that something is indeed in the wind for us soon or I fear that like SQ this board will die back down to a level where we post once a month.

I sure hope not I enjoy this community very much.

It has survived so many years after last tex game,
and it still is living and growing, even though we all know that chances for a new FMV Tex Game game are about 0.

But I believe Tex Murphy hasn't said his final word and we will see him again )

I agree, the posts have been very frequent. I also think that its due ot waiting for a new site. I know on my account that I am posting alot more lately, and I'm usualy a troll on this site. Its nice to be out from under that bridge. *Sowden streches his legs*

Cause I always thought a troll was a nay saying pain in the butt on any given board.
