Re: Fav. Point and Click Adventures!!

Jim the old guy wrote:Hey, Old Murphy! Nice avatar! I just watched a re-run of Blade Runner last night (from my Comcast DVR).
Thanks, it's my favourite movie! (I prefer Final Cut, and before that it was Director's cut)

Re: Fav. Point and Click Adventures!!

(trying not to repeat what has already been said) The Dig was really awesome. One often forgotten (and underrated) is: Loom High on my list (of games that haven't been mentioned already): Sanitarium The Neverhood Call of Cthulhu: Shadow of the Comet Prisoner of Ice Series: King’s Quest series (defin...

Well being in a car accident is usually Serious anyway, but usually not Deadly Serious. I know, I've been in one.

Re: And 2008 churns onward

Here's a little bit more information: Latest: Morgan Freeman broke his shoulder and arm when he flipped his car over in Mississippi on Sunday night. The actor and his passenger Demaris Meyer had to be cut from the wreckage and airlifted to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee after Morg...

Re: desparate

I recommend Deus Ex, one of my personal favourites and one of the greatest games. It is a science-fiction FPS-RPG hybrid which takes place in a cyberpunk future. You can choose your own playing style, go all out gunning or stealth/sneaking, take your own route to the destination. The game has a huge...

Re: Official Dark Knight review thread.

Terry Gilliam, the director, is trying to use the existing footage of Ledger. Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell will be playing different incarnations of the character to complete the role. Too bad Gilliam has such bad luck during productions on his movies. However, Heath Ledger's last comple...

Yeah, but he never completed his role. He was replaced halfway through by three other actors who will finish it.

Re: So who's ready for The Dark Knight?

I used to love the old Batman movies by Tim Burton, but not after I saw Batman Begins. I think the new and old Joker are of two very different world. Jack is utterly a clown compared to what Heath made of him. Personally I prefer the new one.

I am so overhyped for this movie! Gonna watch it in cinemas like 10,000 times! :) :D

Re: I finally got to watch Blade Runner.

Regardless, compared to the insane amount of horrible games derived from movies, they did quite the job with Blade Runner Oh yeah, most definitively. :D In my opinion, Blade Runner and Chronicles of Riddick are the only two games that have been successfully made from movies. And the other way aroun...
