alternative payment methods for KS campaign
fellow Murphiles... my plan to support Chris' an Aaron's KS campaign was derailed by the necessity to own a creditcard. Any of you know of alternative methods? I am sure that this campaign could gain a lot more backers, if we could pledge using alternative means... I know, I've been using the term &...

I would get this game, if it ever came out on PC...
And, if they managed to implement proper widescreen; which they neglected to do on Fahrenheit.
Loved that game, even though I nearly busted my fingers on all those quicktime events.

Re: 100 things we learned from Tex games...
The actress playing Emily was 18 at the time the PD scenes were shot... just a little tidbit. As to the picture on the Roswell ID; no idea... even though I remember thinking that she was pretty attractive... maybe she was an employee of Access Software at the time?

Re: Playing Tex Murphy Games In Newer Windows Systems
These games are called Three Cards to Midnight and Three Cards to Dead... At least, if I remember correctly, not really my type of games but they are pretty good.

100 things we learned from Tex games...
I do not know if someone did this before, I was unable to find it on the board, so here goes.
My first three are:
1. Tex is San Francisco's' favourite punching ball
2. Chelsea is a mutant but it doesn't show
3. Tex does not like brains
next please...

Please, don't misinterpret my intentions, I'm just confused as to the fact that in regard to people asking questions about UAKM/PD/TMO they usually just referred to gog.com. It just seems to me that there is some sort of reluctance to help people nowadays. Is it just me? :? And something else, gog.c...

Oh, of course gog.com would be a nice alternative as well.

Re: Playing Tex Murphy Games In Newer Windows Systems
You have to use a little neat programme called Dosbox. There are literally hundreds of posts concerning this problem. 1. download dosbox and install. 2. start dosbox 3. on the top of the dosbox window some basic commands are shown Can't really remember the rest at the moment, but as I said alot of t...

Re: graphic corruption with UAKM
Could you do me a favour and post the content of your dosbox.conf and your system specs? Maybe there is some tweaking that might be done.

Hi, only the installer seems to have a 32bit restriction. The game itself plays fine. So either play it directly from CD/DVD or copy all files to HD and start it directly from the Overseer.exe. After installing rsx of course... It was called rsx wasn't it? :? Even managed to get the DVD version to r...

Re: Overseer in Vista, DVD and 64bit
thank you for that information even though it surely wasn't needed... this was not about mouse trails of any kind. I would be happy with mouse trails. I do not even have cursor. Other than that; this was about playing Overseer in a 64bit environment. I reiterate: I did not need information about loc...

re: the video whenever I play PD I usually watch the video after trapping the alien entity. So I guess that this can't be the trigger, hm. The way I remember is: Tex mentions something about a feeling of not being alone right after waking up in Roswell. I usually can get the diesel fuel and the spar...
