The last film you´ve seen and your thoughts about it

Yeah the robot that looks like Short Circuit... Does look pretty good...

I've got a bunch of Toy Story stuff still in the packages... Got it at a closeout store for the boy, but before I had the chance to wrap it and give it to him, he ended up not really caring for it any more... So it all went into boxes and is out in the shed... Some of it is probably already worth a lot more than when it first came out...

Amazing what some people will put value on...

I watched One Missed Call the other night. Now, I didn't think it was a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, but, I did find it to be a very creepy movie. I like the visuals in many of the scenes.

I'm set to watch One Missed Called tonight sometime along with Over Her Dead Body...

Just finished watching "The Guns Of Navarone" on TV. Man, what a classic! Gregory Peck, David Niven, Anthony Quinn (he was superb). Drama, action, setting, dialogue. It's great.

I love this movie. Funny story about it...there was this guy who used to do all the play-by-play announcing for Kentucky Wesleyan College basketball games when I was growing up in Owensboro, KY...and he would also do some local tv spots as well. One night, they were showing the replay of the game from that night, and afterwards they were showing "The Guns of Navarone." Now, we all know that this movie is a war movie, but this guy goes on air in front of God knows how many people and says "Stick around after the game folks, because we will be showing that great western The Guns of Navarone....." My dad and I just sat there laughing hysterically....

I Agree with most of this, except I didn't find it creepy... I found it to be very Predictable after about 40 minutes... The Visuals and Makeup were pretty good... This is what happens when you try to remake something that was already done... Hopefully they don't try to remake the sequel...

Watched Iron Man the other day. IMHO it's the best comic book movie since Batman Begins. Yes, I even like it more than Spider-man. It's just a fun ride from beginning to end. And I love how they open up the film. It draws you right in. It's wonderful. Go see it if you have the chance.

I also finished watching Ray not too long ago. It was a good movie. Nothing really fantastic about it except for the acting, but it did keep my interest the entire time - so I guess that's something.

You know, one of the interesting things about Iron Man, compared to other super heros, is that most other super heros have something dark or troubled in their past, while Tony Stark (a.k.a. Iron Man) has like the happiest life I could imagine.

This is one of the things that sets Iron Man apart from other super hero movies.

Also - I went to see Iron Man a second time last night.

I guess I meant I found the visuals to be creepy...in a good way. I liked them a lot with the dolls being seen in peoples faces and the dark hooded figure running across the street. I thought that was pretty cool...but I agree with you, very predictable...just ok, not great..wouldn't watch it again, would however suggest it to any teenage girls having a slumber party just so I can hear them scream from the next room. lol

Another thing I realized about Iron Man - He's the only superhero that, in the first film, divulges his secret publicly to everyone.

Okay, I know some of you might pull the Punisher into the picture here, but he's not a superhero, just a vigilante.

Yeah. That surprised me. I've never read the Iron Man comics. Is that the way it is in the comics (his identity is known)?

Well, not at first, no. In the comics there's this bodyguard, y'see You might've heard about it in the movie, they make light of the whole situation there. But eventually, yeah, Stark reveals himself to be Iron Man in the comics.

Anyway, I just watched Over Her Dead Body this evening... It was okay... I expected it to be much funnier, but it had some hilarious moments, but not many... A good movie if you are a Eva Longoria Parker Fan...

I've got the house all to myself tonight...just took my daughter home...my girlfriends girls are at their dads, and Crystal is at her parents house hanging out with her sister who is in from out of town....sooooooo, I need to watch a movie tonight...I just don't know which one....I've been thinking about rewatching JFK again since I watched Unsolved History the other day and they were talking about the Kennedy assassination.....I just find the whole thing fascinating...
