Well, I was late for James' Birthday, so this time I'll get my congrats in early. Happy (although you didn't make it sound that way) Birthday, Electron Stu; and congrats as well for the move. It's always nice to have a base of operations.

And just for the armchair academics on the board (you know who you are):

The Romans started counting their months starting at March. That's right, no January or February, which means that Quintilis is in fact the fifth month, by the Roman count, which means it's actually July (named after the very person that had a really bad day at the 'other' Ides). You ever wonder why the ninth month of the year is actually called SEPTEMber? It's the Romans fault, as is OCTOber, NOVEMber and DECEMber. And don't get me started on August...that's another whole mess from a time when Jim's post count was still in the single digits.

I'll be quiet now...

Ha! I kid, 'cause I love. I don't remember which comedian said that, but I think that sentiment speaks for everyone on the board. Good to have you around this place, JTOG; and it's a nice picture.

The Ides are upon us. *sigh* It's time to accept my ultimate fate and let the odometer roll over. 30 years . . . *sigh*

Actually it's not that bad. I have the folks in town this weekend and we're gonna have a little summer movie film festival. Then go ride some go karts and play some mini-putt. Fun day to be had. It's all about the little things. It's currently 4:43am so I will let everyone know how the day pans out when it's all over. I'm gonna attempt to get some more sleep.

Ah well the day has come and gone and everything turned out well. Watched a couple movies in the theater with my parents, then we did some go-carts and then some mini putt. All around a good day. Thanks everyone
