The Official 'What was that Movie Again?' Thread

Ok, I have 2 more requests - for the titles of a movie, and a tv - series.

TV-Series:

I believe it was created in the 80s/early90s, and the premise was that the consciousness of people who fell into comas would appear in this alternate universe, so that in a way, a mirror image of everyone in a coma would exist in this alternate universe and interact with eachother. That's the extent of what I remember, though I remember there was a specific plotline occurring in this alternate universe from episode to episode - I also remember it having a very post-apocolytic feel to it, but because I was 4-6 at the time my interpretation could be off.

Movie:

This was an Australian film I saw in the 90s, so heads up aussies! It was a very long film, but I remember the general plotline - a man and woman are gonna get married (and do, I think), but the man has evil plans and takes his wife out on a rowing-boat in the swamps with her sister, and together with her sister he pushes her overboard and she is mangled by an aligator/crocodile. Surprisinigly she survives and crawles ashore, mangled into bits. A hermit rescues her and brings her back to health, though her looks are destroyed. She ends up getting plastic surgery, completely altering her appearance, and then seduces her old husband, without him knowing it's her, while he's with her sister - and then she exacts her revenge. Does this ring anyone's bell?

The second one I think is Return to Eden. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085079/
If you can't be good, be careful
Speaking of tv-series and films, here's an image I have burned into my brain that I cannot recall where's from:

I think it's anime or manga (Cub, your specialty is up!), it's animation in any case. It was something of a love story I think, because some guy is out kickin' butt trying to get home to his sweetheart. Now this girl lives in a cottage on top of a cliff. With their pet squirrel (I think it was a squirrel at least.)

Now here's the image that's burned into my head: When he gets home, his girl's dead (and so's the squirrel) and he sees them as spirits that turn into weird red laser-birds that fly out from the cliff and out over the ocean. A full moon is visible in the clouds, and a weird mechanic zeppelin thing comes flying into view (as if to collect souls or something).

I remember this vaguely from my very early years so it's definately from the 80's or older.

Any takers?

The most I can remember about this movie and it may not be completely accurate is the fact that the characters had something like a necklace or bracelet that transported them through time and whatnot to kill or save people... I can't think of the title or really any other details, I can't even remember who played in it...
Can anyone help or is my lack of information too vague???

Well I have long since figured out all the films that I had watched as a child but there a couple films that were bugging me for the longest time. One was The Cat Came Back. It's an animated short that I remember watching when I was a kid and took forever to find the name of it because it's a Canadian Short. The one that was hardest to find which is also a Canadian Short was called The Big Snit. I remember them being hilarious and still think they are to this day. Is it just a Canadian thing or do others find them interesting? Here's a link to them if you wanna check them out:
