Sadly i know just what you mean they just found gall stones in my gall bladder afther i had a few verry wierd pain atacks just like u said.

with me it started like a fealing i ate too mutch then small fealing of upset tummy but like u say it only gets wurse while time passes and normal pain killers dont have any effect.

i am geting a MRI scan on the 20th of this month to see if they are gone take it out or try something diferent first.

with me some kinds of food can trigger an atack like peanuts cofee thee but most of the time its random for me having episodes about once a week now but becouse i avoid the foods that make it worse and ahve good pain killers there alot better then before.

Ohh in my famely my mom had them my granny had them too so well thats my gift from that side of tha famely i recon,

Pronk, sorry to hear you have to go through this... I know too well what you are most likely going through... Thankfully for you they have these new procedures that can be done... They don't even need to cut you anymore to take the Gall Bladder out... They have this tube that goes down your throat and cuts a small hole in your stomach, then cuts the proper pieces for the Gall Bladder and then they suck it out, putting just a couple of Dissolving Stitches in your stomach and that's that... Most people do it on a Friday and are back to work on Monday, Amazing how far some things have come in the last 10 years...

Whatever you do, don't let it go too far... I put mine off until they had to take mine the Old Fashion way, I have an 8 inch scar from where they cut me open, 19 Staples I had afterwards... If you have the Health Insurance, get it done as soon as possible, that is if the Drs. feel it needs to come out...

I got an Email from him shortly before I had my episode... I posted in the Tex Support Forum, where he hangs mostly and another Thread was created asking about him... He is doing good... His health continues to improve, but he has been pretty busy... He assured me that we would post soon, but when Nilo gets busy he is the type to lose himself in his work...

i got a |MRI scan this 20th of the month that will decide if i need to get it done fast or can be put on a list having it done few weeks later.

Hope the MRI scan goes well.

As for Sarah Palin, I keep reading scary headlines on the news here about her being probed. I'm sure she's been abducted by Aliens or something.

If you haven't been having the Attacks for a long period of time you should be okay and able to get one of the newer procedures done... I certainly don't wish the long procedure on anyone... 8 Inch Cut, 19 Staples, a Drainage Tube for a week, and about 5 weeks practically off your feet with another 5 weeks of massively reduced activities... Plus you never really heal the way you should from the Big Cut, because it goes through just about every muscle in your Abdomen, which means just picking up a cup to drink from flexes those muscles, so you end up building up Scar Tissue... Not the way to go...

I would encourage you to push your Dr. for a procedure as soon as possible, no matter what the MRI says... Even if it says you have a mild case, push for the procedure so you don't chance it getting any worse... Once a Gall Bladder starts to become Inflamed there is no turning back, sooner or later it will have to come out... The Sooner the better, because it only gets worse, which means the procedure options become less...

No trying to scare you or anything, just trying to help... Like I said, I wouldn't wish the Long Procedure upon anyone... Just trying to give some advice since I've gone through it...
