Damn, there I go suffering from chronic U-itis. I actually thought I was making that word up as it sounded wrong but I guess it's a real word. The un-necessary U in a word that doesn't need it, I can attribute to the Canadian school system. They blur the British and American spelling of words depending on what teacher you get. I just found it safer to add the U, and now I find myself putting it into words that don't have it in it in either spelling.
