Yeah i downloaed the demo last night and played a bit this morning. It looks GREAT. and it runs surprisingly well on my outdated video card.
What are the requirements for the PC??? Due to the Divorce my Computer Upgrade has been put on hold until all is settled... So needless to say I'm running on some outdated equipment right now...

The Processor and Video Card would probably cause me to have some problems... Might have to put this one on the shelf for now... Shouldn't be but another 6 months or so before everything is finalized though...
So hopefully I'll be giving myself a pretty new computer for Christmas... lol

Yeah I have... it runs surprisingly well on my 8800 GTS 512 video card, which is almost 3 years old. With the PhysX (or physics) effects enables it can cause some pretty hefty lag in some scenes, but other than that it runs pretty well.

I will probably be upgrading anyway before the full version comes out, just to smooth out the gameplay. The benefit of the game's engine is: because it uses PhysX processing, you can install a new video card beside your old one, and get one of them to render graphics and one to render PhysX for a pretty significant performance boost.

It is nice feature, I never heared about it.

If already Alan Wake will be published for PC, I will make upgrade (complete refurbishment) too.

okay i downloaded the demo just to see how it would run on my pc
core 2 duo 2.13 ghz with 9600 gt extreme 512 card

seems to run okay & the video looks good.

how do you get out of the driveway without killing myself & everyone in the street. i don't think I have laughed so much in my life. totally wrecked the car several times been arrested & also had a punch out with a taxi driver.

using the "w" key and the mouse I can run but not being in the car. the "A" key takes you left & the D key turns right but the car won't go this way. running on foot I run out of time.

It would be right if I could just use the mouse. Maybe you will be able to do this in the full version.

If I remember right, there was neccessary to press "Shift+A" in first Mafia.
shift + w is leap & the other keys are W,S,A,D
driving is arrows (up down, left & right.
