Ok guys, I'm working on translating the "New San Francisco Voice 2043 Ep1" video in italian, and I need some help with a couple of sentences I can't get by ear.
First, the name of the anchorman: I hear something like "Camden Houser" but I'm not sure it is correct.
Other than that, I can't absolutely understand the following lines:
From 02:54 to 03:16 (the radio transmission and the witnesses dialogue)
From 03:58 to 04:04 (the Moon Child guy's speech)
From 05:43 to 05:50 (The mutant's speech)
Thank you guys

Hi gufino, good idea.
Do you have a file with the timing in yet? I could try and make an English version .

Here it is, an english subs file with timing
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/80192572/news1_eng_99%25.ass
As you can see from the name, it si 99% because it needs to be double checked and completed by a native speaker (there's those sentences I mentioned above that are still missing, I can't absolutely get'em

)

For the names like Houser etc. I think asking Cubase who made the video might be best if being accurate as not exactly sure how it is wrote. I'll PM them a link to this thread.
For example I think the other newscaster is called Tayler (but that could also be wrote as Taylor) and the guy on the Moon Child says they are going to a community meeting with someone, maybe Angela or Angelo.
I can't translate the foreign words from the guy filming the Moon Child explosion.
I did transcribe the stuff after that though (I think they are being sarcastic towards each other).
"Why'd you give me a beer, I don't even like beer?"
"Aw well I like beer and I like the fact that you like it!"
As well as the bit missing from the Mutant protestor ("ties with purity cults") etc.
Also edited some other things in the file e.g. "northern hill" was "North Hill". "Lotus Speeder". "fiery". "cooperation" vs "collaboration". "Chelsee" rather than "Chelsea" (she has her name spelt different than the common one).
I added some things like "New City Channel 6", "Moon cult! Moon cult! Moon cult!" etc. hopefully I got it right since the Aegis sub formatting is different to the others.

Here are the lines, in the same layout as you have supplied, for easy copy and paste...
Camden Houser: Tonight: New San Francisco Police investigate the "firey" scene of a possible homicide, which may be linked to mysterious disappearance
Also we'll look back on the one year anniversary of the Moon Child disaster, where we'll visit a special memorial service and speak with some of the people who lost their loved ones
We'll see a video that one man claims to be the clear proof of the existence of UFOs
And finally we'll remember two very different pioneers: author Aaron Connors and inventor Nikola Tesla
Your city, your news, First time, every time (This is Chris Jones actually ;P)
Good evening, I'm "Camden Houser" and you're watching "New San Francisco Voice"
Earlier today police was summoned to the scene of a speeder fire in the North Hill area
An official investigation indicated that there are human remains in the wreckage
The identity of the victims is unknown at this time, though authorities have confirmed that there is DNA at the scene and the identification may be possible
The vehicle was an old model Lotus Speeder, registered to a local man: Tex Murphy
Murphy, a private investigator, was reported missing several weeks ago, along with a female companion, Chelsee Bando
Police are refusing to speculate whether the remains could be those of Murphy of Bando
In the meantime they're asking the public to contact them with any information they might have about the speeder fire or the disappearance of the two possible victims
In an odd coincidence, Tex Murphy is connected to our next story
According to the mutant league spokesperson, Mr. Murphy was one of the few people who had visited the Moon Child space station and survived
Apparently returning to Earth shortly before the terrible tragedy
What begun as a fantastic opportunity aboard this multi billion dollar research and development satellite
ended in disaster on December 31st, 2042, when the Moon Child was suddenly destroyed after experiencing a catastrophic computer malfunction killing all 2,180 inhabitants on board
Among those who died was the pioneering entrepreneur Lowell Percival, whose corporation funded the construction of the orbiting research project
To this date, the exact nature of the catastrophic fault has never been determined, but one thing is for certain: for the families of the victims who have been left behind on Earth this is a moment they'll remember every single day
Russian: There's the Moon Child. Wait... Something is happening, something is not right. Do you think they can see? Oh look! They exploded!
Why'd you give me a beer, I don't even like beer?
We'll I like beer, and I like the fact that you like it!
What the hell was that, there... Holy $#it!
Oh my god... if you see that... oh my god!
This evening a special twilight memorial service is being held in memory of those who lost their lives
Tonight here at Bella Vista Gardens families and friends are commemorating the first anniversary since the disaster and remembering those whose lives were lost
Well my brother just arrived on board, a few days earlier. You know, he and his wife just got there
actually, you know, he sent me a video-message just the morning of the event...
Check it out... Pretty cool, huh?
Yeah, look, I gotta go to a community meeting with Angela soon,
So, um, I'll just make this a quick one but check out this view...
Look, I can see your house from here
Well, anyway, I gotta go, but, um, take care, I'll talk to you soon and say "Hi" to mum from me, ok?
I've never actually heard of the Moon Child until my husband told me he'd gotten a job up there
I'm still not exactly sure what he was going to be doing, it was all very secretive
I wanted to go with him, but he just kept saying that it was his destiny and that he needed to do this without me
He was acting really strange before he left, almost as if he knew he wasn't going to see me again
I've never really believed in premonitions, you know, just a feeling, but...
I must have known something bad was going to happen
Hearth breaking stories.. And to add to the heart break are the theories surrounding the nature of the business conducted on the satellite
And the mutant league's claims of a sinister plot involving many of the installation key figures, including Percival himself
Meanwhile C.A.P.R.I.C.O.R.N., the organisation initially opposed to the project, remains tight lipped about their involvement and the events leading up to the disaster
But for C.A.P.R.I.C.O.R.N. supporters it's an entirely different story
Oh, c'mon! Space station, chemical research, ties with purity cults!?
It's obvious, they were flying mutant citizens aboard for live human experimentation
While the Tribunal continues to investigate some of the so called conspiracy theories, with collaboration of both the "Law and order" party and C.A.P.R.I.C.O.R.N.,
the people here will fight to move on from the night that will always be remembered as "dark sky Sunday"
Back to you, Cam
Yes, some sad stories there, thank you Taylah
And speaking of conspiracy theories there's none more well known in the topic of aliens and UFOs
After this break we'll be speaking with one man who claims to have the proof we've all been waiting for.
There you go!

I'm starting to transcribe video update #6 with Aaron if anyone can use it. Just starting, but it's not a terribly long video so hopefully I can get in done in the next couple hours.

Here is the transcript. Not sure of the time stamps, but here is the text.
Kickstarter Video Update #6 by Aaron Conners
Aaron: Oh, hi there.
I’m Aaron Conners. Half of the creative team of the new Tex Muphy game
Unlike my partner, Chris Jones, I don’t need to need to have my face on camera every single second of the day.
Chris’ voice off camera: Hey Aaron! Aaron Hey! Hey wha-what are you doing.
Aaron: ok so…
Chris [slaps Aaron on the back]: Good luck.
Aaron: Alright, so…
[Camera cuts to a second take]
Aaron: Ok, so anyway, let’s talk about what kind of game Project Fedora’s going to be.
Um, for those of you who’ve played the old Tex Murphy games; Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive and Overseer – you know what to expect.
Tex Murphy lives in the Ritz Hotel, which is an apartment that doubles as his office. The Ritz is on Chandler Avenue - a dead end street in an old section of New San Francisco.
There are several businesses on that street; including Rook’s Pawn Shop, and the Brew n' Stew. A diner owned by Tex’s best friend, Louie.
There are lots of other characters there as well, and I think our fans will be happy to know that a lot of them are going to be back in the new game.
In our Kickstarter video we’ve given you a glimpse of Chandler Avenue. Which will be familiar to our fans, even though it’s been given a really spectacular facelift.
We’ve also shown you how good the FMV can look.
But for those of you who haven’t played our previous games, FMV is just one element to those games.
You’re going to do a lot of exploring, shadowing suspects, breaking into locations, avoiding security.
And, uh, even more frequently searching areas such as crime scenes, back alleys, and other areas for clues and evidence.
You’re going to solve a ton of puzzles, you’re going to have to find, examine, combine and use inventory objects in clever ways.
You’ll learn about people, places and things which you’ll have to ask characters about to get to get new leads and clues.
There’ll be computer files to unlock, documents and notes to read. All of these are going to be providing intriguing information which will develop the story.
Our games are not at all “twitchy.”
There is danger; and sometimes you’ll have to be careful where you go and what you do.
But this isn’t an action game or a shooter.
You’ll need to use your brain, cleverness and persistence to get breaks in the case.
You’ll be challenged, but as always we’re going to provide a great hint system so you’re never going to be stuck.
So that’s kind of an overview of what the game is going to be.
We hope this helps clear it up for those of you who aren’t familiar with it.
And we really look forward to you playing our game.

On Youtube you go to Video Manager then Edit > Captions. Upload the subtitles file and select which language its for in the dropdown. Then Save.

Would there be any interest in a Dutch translation? I could translate text files, but I have no YouTube account and no idea what youtube grabbers etc are - so I would need some (lots of) help or assistance with the technical side of things if you guys think it would be useful.
