Oh yes, "Leaving Hope" ... 5 minute song with no lyrics, and probably one of the most beautiful songs ever made. Whenever Reznor gets on a piano, you get entranced. But with Leaving Hope, you can get tears in your eyes and make it the soundtrack to any gut wrenching, heartbreaking event of your life. Then you could turn around and make it the soundtrack for your most loving beautiful moment as well.

I always loved "The Frail" too, as well as "The Mark has been Made". I remember when I first heard "The Mark has been Made", I kept saying it would be awesome to use this in a movie soundtrack. When I watched "Man on Fire", I literally was fired up in all the scenes the music was used. Simply awesome. Then there is the "300" preview that featured "Just Like you imagined" ... singlehandedly made me watch the movie.

Oh, and the live version of "Gave Up" I should say that's probably my third favorite. For some odd reason, I always preferred the live version to the original. Still have the original DVD of the performance. It's one of the few DVDs I still have that has lived a long life. (few friends ever wanted to borrow that one you understand.) I love all the electronic parts seem to just sound richer, or something, I don't know what it is.

Any opinions on how the mid season ended?
It ending with Hank on the shitter is priceless.

Any theories on where this is going to go?

I want to know where Walt is going with all those guns.

Best place for him really to figure it out. After all the massive jail murders, Hank is afraid of Heisenberg, I guarantee that. I don't think things are looking good for Mr. White. Celebrating his birthday wistfully alone? All that money shoved into ONE storage unit, bad move Sky. Diversify.
If they kill Jesse, I will be HUGELY pissed. Anything else is fair game.

I miss Mike.
For realz.
He aged hard and fast in this series though, check him out in repeats, big difference from intro to end.

The wheels of justice may grind slowly, but Hank Schrader rides them like a bicycle.

Especially when you consider the time from his introduction to his death was like 6 months in storyline time.
