Wonder Woman is still a few years off. It's DC though, not Marvel. Originally Joss Whedon was set to make it, but for some reason or other the project got scrapped. Plans are underway to make it from scratch now though.
Also, Justice League (DC) and Avengers(Marvel) films are in the making. And, as far as I could figure out, other comic films set to appear in the near forseeable future involves The Flash, The Spirit, Watchmen and Thor.
I may have missed a few. Rumors abound of a Green Lantern film, however nothing is set in stone.

I'm beginning to think that you aren't human, but rather a talkative search engine.

Fred started it, by talking about several movies at one time...

That'll teach you to disregard Cubase!! Just kidding

It's a great piece of cinema, as far as intense films go.

I didn't like Cloverfield... I don't care for the First-Person Filming Style... If they had filmed it like a normal movie then it would have probably had a better affect on me... I just don't like the jumping around and stuff that comes with the First-Person Style... Story and all it was good, but I doubt I'll watch it again, the jumping around gives me headaches...

So it's safe to say you didn't like the Blair Witch Project? That would probably put you in the majority as far as that film goes.

I didn't like either of the Witch projects, there were 2 of them unfortunately...
Like I said though, Cloverfield did have a good story to it, but I just couldn't keep looking at the screen with all the jumping around it was doing...
Was made sit through a chick flick, P.S. I Love You... It had some good funny moments in it... I'm just not big on the feeling sorry for yourself type movies, because that's what the main girl was doing, feeling sorry for herself through most of the movie... Granted her husband of only 10 years died of a brain tumor, you are allowed mourning time... Why her family and her late husband weren't giving her that long to grieve was kind of puzzling... It was like days after the funeral her husband had a letter system all set up to deliver letters to her at certain times and they had instruction for her to follow...
Not something I'll go out of my way to watch, but like I said it had some good funny moments throughout it...

I just got back from Speed Racer.
Ok. The story's not that great. The acting is not that great. But wow! This was a very powerful visual experience bordering on visual overload. More than anything else I was struck by how colorful it was. There was enough color to burn out all the rods in your eyeballs.
And what a fun ride! Fast-paced action, vivid colors, stylish costumes and makup, dreamscape scenery. Everything was to the max.
Totally unbelievable. Totally predictable. But loads and loads of fun and sensory stimulation.
I especially liked the makeup and do on Christina Ricci's character, Trixie. Kind of a retro-roaring twenties look. Very stylish.

I didn't like Blair Witch, but not because of the film style. I didn't like it because it wasn't scary, I didn't care about any of the teens, and it was cheap. Sure, not everyone has a 50 million plus budget to back them up, but if you can't make it look decent, then don't do it half assed and expect to roll with the big boys.

I don't think Cloverfield looked all that decent... You hardly got a look at the Big Creature... Couldn't see it clearly in any shot... I would have liked to see the thing... I remember on very quick smokey shot of it from below, other than that all you saw was a leg here and there...

I actually liked the Blair Witch Project, but I think the whole reason was I was I was under some mighty influence at the time. I was suckered into the whole "just carrying a camera" schtick. The whole rest of the world panned the movie to hell too, which also made me carry the "underdog" flag for the movie. Although I thought it was a bit of a ripoff at the end that you didn't get to see the witch. Waited that whole time to see the camera get knocked down. Totally destroyed the buzz.

For me personally, I totally got into the whole idea of the Blair Witch movie. When I watch a movie, I take my personal views on things out of the equation and totally allow myself to believe what I am seeing on the screen to make the experience more real. Was there a real Blair witch? Hell no, everyone knew that....we all knew that going into the movie...but if for just an hour and a half, you allow yourself to believe there was a real Blair Witch and these 3 people were actually killed in the woods by it and they happen to catch it on film....well, the mind is a powerful thing and if you allow yourself to fully believe what you are seeing (just for the duration of the film) then understanding where a concept of a movie is coming from is more believable. I think that is why I liked the Blair Witch Project...now, the second one sucked. Absolutely horrible. But I totally dug the first one.

I watched "Timber Falls" last night... Not bad for a Horror Film... It had a bit of a different twist to it... It just came out so I won't say too much incase others want to watch it... The acting wasn't too bad either... I liked the blonde in it, if she is given a decent shot at the Hollywood scene I think we will see a lot more of her... Though she did show quite a bit of herself in the movie I might add...
Death Race 2000... An older movie, but later had a computer game made after it called Carmageddon... Good game too, as far as racing games went back in the mid 90s... Mr. Stallone plays a race car driver in a futuristic USA, where a lot of areas are Forbidden Zones... The racers race from Checkpoint to Checkpoint through the Forbidden Zones hoping the residents don't try to blow up them and their car... Hitting people earn you points... Good Movie, I highly Suggest it, if you have Netflix it should be real easy for you to get your hands on it...
Untraceable... Very Good Movie... Diane Lane was excellent... High tech movie about computers and the internet and video streaming... This is a newer movie as well, so I won't give too much of this one away either... But I highly recommend this one...
I am suppose to watch Mad Money tonight... According to previews this is about 3 woman, one at least is in charge of destroying old currency, but decides to take some and spend it instead... Looks to be very funny... I'll let you all know later...
