At the end of Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay is one of the most clever poems I've seen. It goes like this:

The Square Root of Three by David Feinberg

I’m sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three

The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine

For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic

I know I’ll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality

When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three

As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer

We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands

Our square root signs become unglued
Your love for me has been renewed

Mad Money... Not as funny as I thought it was going to be... I really need to start setting my expectations a little lower... In fact there were a couple of scenes from the previews that weren't even in the movie... It had a lot more Seriousness to it then I expected... According to the Previews you have these 3 women who steal money about to be destroyed and they go on a Shopping Spree and have a good old time... That ain't the way it really goes down in the movie though...

It's not a bad movie, don't get me wrong... The acting and everything was good, but for being in the Comedy Class, it was a little on the Dull side, but had its moments...

Great film!

Ah, one of my favorite movies of all time. I don´t know how often I´ve seen it but definately VERY often. Great atmosphere and Robert Mitchum is mindblowing. I´m a huge Bogartfan but when it comes to Marlowe I pick Mitchum as my personal Nr.1 .
If someone wants to see another great Mitchum film: The night of the hunter from 55 was really a milestone and way ahead of its time.

Great film, Von. Unnerving!

Speaking of Marlowe films, James Garner did a good one several years back. Bruce Lee played the hit man for a mobster Garner was after.

I watched all 3 of the Indiana Jones movies tonight, I saw that they were on the Sci-Fi channel and choose to stick in the DVDs instead... Beats watching it cut up and with commercials...

They are great movies... I've already bought my tickets in advance for my local Theater... I will be going to see the new one on Thursday... It will probably be packed, but I can't wait, I've been waiting for a New Indiana Jones for 15 years... I gotta go see it... :D

I got mine, too. I'm seeing it at a local theater that offers a dinner and a movie experience.

It features an all-you-can-eat buffet and salad bar.

Next week's menu includes: A carving station with smoked turkey and spiral-cut ham, lemon chicken with artichokes and capers, fusili with tomao pesto, parsley potatoes, asparagus, honey glazed carrots, dessert and salad bar. It also includes all the popcorn and soft drink you want.

We do most of the eating before the show starts, but the seats are nice and comfortable posture-pedic leather seats, each with side tables attached for keeping your munchies handy through the movie.

Best way to see a movie.

Jim: FYI, this is offered at the Palladium in Birmingham every weekend. Different menu every month.

Last night I went to see What Happens in Vegas with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz.

All I can say is that it was a VERY funny movie. The critics, of course, hated it. So there you go. A must see if they don't like it.

Nice...

I'm gonna go to a Steak House before going to the Theater, probably Long Horn or Outback...
I just can't wait to see the movie, period...

I find comedies very touchy with the critics, because humor is such a subjective thing. But i tend to agree with you, when ti comes to comedies, the best thing you can do is see for yourself.

I probably wont see What Happens In Vegas until it comes out on DVD, but I will see it.

I saw Iron Man last week... MUCH better than I expected. Robert Downey Jr does an excellent job, and I can't wait to see him in Tropical Thunder playing the black guy... he is so diverse!

Also pumped for Indiana Jones this week... going to see it this Thursday and I think it will be awesome.

Yep, I agree with you guys there... Most of the time I don't even bother to listen to critics... If I see a preview I like, then I see the movie... If I see or hear a title that peaks my interests, then I see the movie... Critics rarely sway my decision making when it comes to movies...

You so aren't alone... I need to deflate my expectations of this New Indiana Jones... That way I can be much more happy with the Movie Thursday... lol

I can already see some funny points in the Previews, especially the one where the kid asks, "You're A Teacher?" and Jones answers, "Part Time."... Seeing it altogether on the screen should be hilarious...
