Ditto from TOG. I enjoyed his role/acting in the first Librarian and never thought of him playing Tex. Now I will.

I think Wyle would eat that role up too if it was presented to him... That is of course if Chris is unwilling or god forbid unable to play the role on the big screen... After the outstanding job he has done in the Librarian Series, I don't see why he wouldn't take a role like Tex Murphy...

A teeny update...
I forgot to say so in the first post, but Chris' title at Trugolf is... "Finance Executive." He also used to be "Chief Financial Officer" at Indie Built.
These revelations are... extremely boring.

But it is neat that he can do all that.

Jane, yep, he's the numbers guy.
There was a story awhile back when they were filming Pandora. Chris was decked out in his Tex outfit, in the middle of a scene when someone came in and asked him to sign some authorization paperwork.
He signed it without reading it, and the folks around him started cracking jokes about how they should all give him paperwork that sells them the company, or gives them big fat raises, something like that.
Anyway, it's rare to find someone that is both extremely creative and a numbers man.

Well, it's all new to me. It's a little hard doing research on a guy with a name like that.
Some sources say he was a co-founder of Access, but how can that be? No way is he that old... right?
Quite actually, I cannot guess his age. Tex was around 40 in
Pandora, right? But Chris? I dunno.

That is so great. Where did you read that?
I'd like to imagine that he was just so in character, and Tex knows nothing of Commodities and Venture Capital, so...

I was remembering it from the interview with the 3 of them (AC, AC & CJ) in the Pandora Directive hint book.
Here's the real quote:
Rick Barba: And it's not like you don't have enought things to deal with anyway, Chris. One of the funniest things I've seen on this visit was this morning. You were blocking out one of your stunt sequences, and somebody interrupted to have you sign a purchase requistion form. (General laughter.) You didn't even look at it. It could have been for anything.
Aaron Conners: You just sold the company!
Chris Jones: It's gone. Got my million dollars. See ya!!! (More laughter)
The irony of course burns me to the very core!!!!!!!!!!

If you can't love what you do, you might as well be in Prison... At least that's what I've heard... Because if you don't enjoy your work then it's almost like being confined anyway...
