Fred reading that comment I am sure now you think kangeroo's hop around our supermarkets & movie theatre's .....LOL

yes we have crabs at the beach, & spiders & crocodiles but not in the suburbs. The tiny red back spider is the most you will find.

Northern of australia right up at the top you will find all those as it's classified "the australian outback"

Australia is one of the most wished countries to visit. On new years eve when I watch the fire works over sydney harbour, I think to myself "what a beautiful country we have"

You mean you don't!? haha

Hey I love the rep Australia has with foreigners, and I like to play on it with visitors. I make it my sovereign duty to inform all visitors to this fine country about: killer spiders, killer crocodiles, killer sharks, wild kangaroos, rabid wombats, and ferocious drop bears.

Did you ever tell me all that, Cub? I don't seem to remember :)

But yeah - Australia is a wonderful and beautiful country, and I feel very fortunate to have been there! Also meeting Cub was a great day :)

Anyway - got lots of photos of our trip to Aussie-land on my website.

Going back to the original topic ... congratulations on your moving to USA, Cub! It's really exciting, and I'm looking forward to hear more of your endeavors there.

Oh now Bafitis people get killed everywhere. It's just LA gets more publicity. Crazy stuff happens in Texas all time. I can't believe this latest thing in Austin with the guy crashing his plane into an IRS building. Why even here in Houston a while back we had some guy holding hostages at the Johnson Space Center. Loonies everywhere.

Hey I thought of something else Cub. You should try riding the metro train they've got in LA. I rode that when I was there on vacation. I went as far as down to Hollywood to see what was there but I think the train went even further out to some parts. Might be handy for you instead of driving if you get a place close enough.

Hahaha Baf.

A lot of Americans say LA is a pretty wild place, and can be dangerous. But then again put any of those LA City hoodlums up against our common dangers here (such as the urban boxing kangaroo) and they would run away like little girls. I am hoping that when most people from LA learn I am from Australia, they will assume I carry a 12 inch bowie knife, I make phone calls with a string and piece of wood, and can use a mean bidet... so don't fork with me!

LOL

Baltimore is just as bad sometimes... But with your talents I would probably have to say that Southern and Central California are probably your best areas for success...
Though New York wouldn't be a bad place for you either... But I'm a Country man, I can't stand big cities, so I'm Biased... I need Mountain ranges and open land, can't wait to get out of Maryland...

I saw a pair of them up in Canada some years back, but didn't have a camera with me at the time, but I could paint the picture exactly as I saw it that day...

I do hope to see them again when I visit Barrow in the next few years... It is the Most Northern City in the USA and I just feel that I need to visit it, just so I can say I was there... lol

Why do you think I am in the security business here in Detroit? One of the worst places to live in the world.....but business is great!

I can't believe I said that.
